Albuquerque Photo of the Day

This is what fascinates me about about New Mexico! I can drive less than an hour from my home in Albuquerque, and enter a scene like the one above. The cost of entry? A couple of gallons of gas and a bit of time! This scene is from the Jemez Mountains, about an hour's drive from Albuquerque. It shows the setting just behind Soda Dam (you need to climb a small embankment to see it), one of the Jemez's numerous natural attractions.
