Photo: The Bosque in Winter, Rio Grande, Albuquerque, New Mexico

This lovely capture of the Bosque, Rio Grande, Albuquerque, New Mexico showcases the inviting colors of a New Mexico sunset. It also showcases the quality the Nikon D40 DSLR camera can produce at its highest ISO setting. I accidentally had set the camera to 3200 ISO, normally far too high for this sort of detailed, low light photography. The resulting image is grainy, yet the full range of subtle color and detail is still captured in this image. In fact, the fine grain enhances the mood of the image! This is one of my favorite captures of the Rio Grande Bosque.
