Here are four scenes from Nob Hill, Albuquerque. Nob Hill is a colorful, urbane mix of art galleries, antique shops, clothing boutiques, jewelry stores, music venues and theaters. The heart of Nob Hill is Central Avenue, the old Route 66. This is the best preserved and most vibrant part of Route 66 as it runs through the heart of downtown Albuquerque.

These photos were shot about three years ago using Fuji negative film (I think it was Fuji Superia, 200ASA) and a beautifully preserved Minolta Srt-201. What a lovely and well crafted camera! All photos were scanned using a Nikon Coolscan V. I cannot sell these images as the original negatives were part of a large collection lost during my move to Phoenix . . . sigh . . .
