This summer of Albuquerque weather (2016) has been a delightful one. It has been one of the mildest I can remember, with gentle monsoon rains and lots of fascinating cloud cover that cut the intensity of warmer days. Indeed, the skies often put on dramatic cloud displays while delivering gentle showers. Here are a few photos that show some of the late summer cloud cover that has graced Albuquerque of late. I took these photos walking along Central Avenue (the old Route 66) through Old Town and across the Central Ave overpass on the Rio Grande. Enjoy!
