Elements of Albuquerque Style

Every American city has a unique visual style. Each has its peculiar way of adorning itself. Whether it be through architecture or decor, you know where you are by certain design elements native to that location. What are the elements of style that identify Albuquerque?

Take a look at the photo to the left. This setting is found in Old Town, Albuquerque. Notice the stylistic touches? The petrified wood base, the wooden barrel planter, the clay pots used as planters. The cluster like arrangement is informal, rough hewn, and stylish in a way that is unique to Albuquerque. It is Albuquerque style!
