The Rio Grande Bosque

The Rio Grande bosque offers a unique wooded environment in arid Albuquerque. Cottonwood trees, coyote willow, and New Mexico olive create a cool, shady forest that provides habitat for beaver, numerous bird species, turtles, and snakes.
