The Bosque del Apache National Wildlife Reserve provides a winter home to tens of thousands of birds--including sandhill cranes, Arctic geese, and many kinds of ducks. This tranquil setting, located in San Antonio, New Mexico is a pleasant journey of approximately an hour from Albuquerque.
