Over 62? Ride to Santa Fe for Free on Wednesdays!

The New Mexico Rail Runner just gets better and better! I first wrote this post to tell all seniors (over 62) that they can ride any New Mexico Rail Runner Express train every Wednesday for free until the end of April. Cool! This is the best way to visit Santa Fe for a great lunch or dinner and some  gallery and museum hopping! But wait… it just got better!

The Rio Metro’s Seniors Ride Free promotion has been extended!

Every Wednesday through the end of summer, seniors age 62+ can ride any New Mexico Rail Runner Express train at no cost. Just imagine all of the cool places you can explore while touring in absolute comfort!

You can visit Santa Fe for an afternoon stroll on famed Canyon Road or catch the 66 Bus from downtown Albuquerque to nosh in Nob Hill. Sweet! What is more, many of Albuquerque’s and Santa Fe’s best museums have free or discounted admission on Wednesday for seniors. But wait… there’s more! if you plan to make a bus connection, just ask your ticket agent on the Rail Runner for a free bus transfer slip.
