Here is a captivating view of the Rio Grande in winter, near Albuquerque, New Mexico. The cottonwoods are are at rest, and sunset approaches. This scene brings to mind the lasting affection I have for New Mexico. Although I am currently a resident of Phoenix, Arizona, I do miss the quiet beauty of New Mexico and its people. I can’t wait to spend more time here again. This was captured with my favorite low-light camera, the Nikon D40.
