The Jemez is one of my favorite destinations in New Mexico, blessed with a amazing diversity of quietly beautiful natural features. This setting is from the red rock buttes on the Jemez Pueblo.

This New Mexico photo shows a collection of rusted old clunkers in a small town in the Jemez Mountains, New Mexico. Sunset colors provided a mellow setting for these colorful rust buckets. New Mexico is, to my eye, the ideal backdrop for these beautiful old relics. The state has a landscape just perfect for these nostalgic settings. This photo was captured with a Pentax K100D and 50-200mm lens.

This New Mexico photo shows a scene from one of my favorite places in New Mexico, the Jemez Mountains. Within the little towns and enclaves of this area you can find charming relics that reflect the less harried, simpler pace of life in this area. Of course, I am drawn to any setting that contains an ancient rusted truck or car!
