The ABQ BioPark Botanic Garden becomes more impressive with each passing year. One of the most delightful recent additions has been the Japanese Garden Exhibit. This rich botanic display has added a new feature that brings Japan a bit closer to Albuquerque. I visited the Biopark this past week (March 20, 2017) and found these cherry blossom trees in beautiful bloom!
Flowering cherry blossom trees generally are in bloom in the BioPark Botanic Garden Japanese Garden from mid-March to early April. More information can be found here on the BioPark’s Spring Schedule of Japanese Garden Tours page. Enjoy the Hanami!
